Founder of Hilumly · I write the blog · Santiago, Chile

I am a divorced mother of three neurodivergent children, and I work nine to six, every day.

That means school meetings, doctors, therapies, the supplies each one needs, the meals, the clothes. And on top of that, everything my job asks of me. Most of the time my head on its own cannot keep up, and when I do remember something my diary is almost never with me.

What I needed was a tool that would help me organise things by topic, so I could keep up with my own life and my children’s without dying in the attempt. And without forgetting jeans day at school one more time.

I could not find it, so I ended up building it. That is where Hilumly comes from: you talk whenever you remember, from wherever you are, and every person, project or topic builds its own thread. When you come back, after a day or after three months, it is already written down where you left off.

About what I write here

On the blog I write from what I have lived, not from a clinic. I am not a psychologist or a doctor, and nothing you read here replaces a professional. If something I describe rings true and your days are hard, it is worth talking it through with someone who knows.

I write about what happens to me and to the mothers I know: the mental load, the forgetting, the guilt, the days when the energy simply is not there. If any of that sounds familiar, you are in the right place.

Where to find me

Write to me at info@hilumly.com and I answer myself. You can also read the blog or have a look at Hilumly.
